Hey there! I’m Crystal- a University of Alabama grad and educator, turned homeschooling mom, with a love for adventure and creativity.
My husband and I have been best friends since we were 17, and now, years later, we've been blessed with a life of love raising our four amazing kids!

Teaching has always been my dream and, though I started out in the public school system, I’ve been homeschooling our crew since the very beginning—and loving every minute! Watching my kids discover the world around them is such a gift.

Travel is another joy in my life. I believe learning happens everywhere, and every new beach, forest, city or country we explore makes the experience even more exciting! Every trip feels like a hands-on classroom where we all get to grow together.

When I’m not teaching or adventuring you’ll probably find me working on something crafty. In 2023, I launched The Crafty Cactus, (@craftycactusjasper) a craft studio for kids, and while my physical studio isn’t currently open, I still host fun events throughout the year.
I love bringing creativity to life for others.

I feel so blessed by the opportunities and experiences I’ve had, and I’m passionate about encouraging others to discover their own talents and have fun learning!
